Song Mixer is a music manager somewhat similar to iTunes however with different features. With it, you can use any standard USB MP3 player, not just iPods. You can prepare music for burning onto a Mix Disc (although version 1 will not do the actual burning), you can, of course, listen to your music, and even play Name that Tune. You can use music from any location, scattered random cd-r's & dvd-r's, folders on your computer, another computer on your home network, or standard audio cds, Song Mixer can rip and encode to MP3 audio cd tracks as well.
It's Mood Ring allows you to create a random mix of music which falls into a certain range of genres, allowing you to choose more or less songs of particular genres. To affect random mixes you can also: give songs ratings, link neighboring songs together so that if one is chosen, and let Song Mixer know which songs are remixes of other songs.
